His photo Afghan Girl, of a girl with piercing green eyes, has appeared on the cover of National Geographic several times. McCurry has photographed many assignments for National Geographic and has been a member of Magnum Photos since 1986.

A nice article, but I think I’ll pass. I don’t have the time and a room available to develop my own film. If you include all the equipment and chemicals to buy, set aside considerable time to do the work, I think I’ll just send the film in and get the scanned images and negatives back in my inbox. Nevertheless, an interesting article to share.
